How to use third-party review signals in vendor diligence

By Kai Greenspan, Founding Editor

Independent reviews can add buyer context, but ratings and anecdotes should never replace fit, implementation, or legal diligence.

Review sources can show themes worth investigating, particularly around usability, support, implementation, or integration. They do not establish that a product is right for a specific operating model.

Check whether a review names the exact product, reflects a similar organization type, and is recent enough to matter. Consider reviewer role, company size, deployment scope, and whether the reviewer's use case is comparable.

DebtTechIndex links to independent review searches at their origin. It does not copy reviews, aggregate rating values, or use third-party ratings to order records.
