Privacy

By Kai Greenspan, Founding Editor

This page is pending legal review before public launch.

DebtTechIndex sets no cookies and does not track you across sites. It collects two things: the inquiry you choose to send about a product, and cookieless, aggregate page analytics.

01

Inquiries

When you send an inquiry, the fields you enter (name, work email, organization, organization type, timeline, and your message) are stored in a database hosted in the eastern United States on Cloudflare’s platform, emailed to DebtTechIndex, and, with your consent, passed to the vendor you asked about. They are retained for 24 months and then deleted automatically. Ask for deletion earlier at enquiries@debttechindex.com.

02

Technical details kept with an inquiry

Two technical details are stored with each inquiry: a one-way hash of your network address, which is used only to limit how many inquiries one connection can send and cannot be turned back into the address, and the browser description your browser sends, which is used only to deal with abuse. Neither is passed to a vendor. Both are cleared automatically after 30 days.

03

Analytics

Page views are measured with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless, does not fingerprint devices, and reports aggregates only.

04

Email

Messages sent to enquiries@debttechindex.com are read by a person and kept as correspondence.
