Editorial policy, the named editor, and profile corrections

By Kai Greenspan, Founding Editor

DebtTechIndex shows provenance, preserves uncertainty, and keeps factual corrections separate from paid participation. Kai Greenspan, Founding Editor, is the named person accountable for everything published here.

01

Vendor input

A vendor may propose a correction, submit an official source, and add approved company-provided content, which is labeled as such. It cannot change an editorial summary, a category, the order of any list, or the source history directly.

02

Correction standard

A correction should identify the record and field, the proposed change, the official source URL, and the requester’s authority to ask. Material corrections are recorded in the changelog without exposing private contact information.

03

Commercial independence

Paid participation does not entitle any vendor to a higher position, a positive conclusion, or the removal of a material ownership or product-status note. How the company earns money is stated in full on the how-we-make-money page.

04

How automation is used

A person researched the records from vendors’ official pages. Automation re-checks that each source still resolves and still names the product, and moves the check date when it does; anything that changed or disappeared becomes a task for a person. No new fact enters a record without a person reviewing it against its source.
