Every Top 10 guide lists only its top ten positions

Each Top 10 guide now lists only the top ten positions: the products that state the most core facts, in the published order. Every product tied for tenth is listed, so a guide can show more than ten products when there is a tie. Products outside the top ten, including those that state no core fact, are no longer on the guide; they stay on their category page and their own record. The ranking policy, the FAQ and the sponsored terms now say so. Page titles and descriptions were shortened to fit search results, and the site text was proofread for US English. No fact, grade or sponsored rule changed.

Earlier changes

Every category is now a ranked guide

The remaining eleven Top 10 guides now rank their products on the five to eight core facts each vendor states on its own site: the shelf's own questions first, then prices with figures, a named security audit, API documentation or export where any vendor states it, and a US customer named with its location or collections business. Every fact is quoted with the page, the date read and two readers. Products that state none of the facts are listed under the ranking with the reason. Six records moved to AR and credit control, the business-to-business shelf, from categories they did not fit: three business credit report products from Credit data and reporting, and three corporate finance consultancies from Professional services and assurance. They are listed on their new shelf as not yet read against its core facts. No grade or sponsored rule changed.

AR and credit control becomes the fourth ranked guide

The Top 10 guide for AR and credit control now ranks its thirteen products on the eight core facts each vendor states on its own site: named ERP integrations, automated dunning, cash application, reporting with exports, prices with figures, a named security audit, API documentation, and a US customer named with its location. Every fact is quoted with the page, the date read and two readers. No grade or sponsored rule changed.

The ranked guides ask what buyers ask, and a third guide is ranked

After a review of fourteen buyer tenders, an industry survey and reviews of listed products, the core questions on every shelf now include the three facts buyers ask every vendor for: prices with figures, a named security audit, and public API documentation where any vendor on the shelf publishes it. Six questions that only the law asked for became candidates, still read and recorded, never ranked on. Five questions buyers asked for were added, among them call recording on dialers, failed-payment notices on payments and client reporting on systems of record. The cap is eight questions. The dialers and payments guides were re-read on their new questions and re-ranked; Collection systems of record became the third ranked guide. Every new fact carries its quote, page, date and two readers. No grade or sponsored rule changed.

Two Top 10 guides become ranked lists

The Top 10 guides for Contact center, dialers and AI agents and for Payments and portals now rank products on the core facts each vendor states on its own website, quoted with the page and the date read. Products are ordered by facts stated, then the shelf's question order, then evidence pages found. Equal counts share a position, and vendors stating none are listed underneath in words. The other fourteen guides stay alphabetical until their core facts are ruled on. The ranking policy page carries the method. No fact, grade or sponsored rule changed.

Relaunched as DebtTechIndex

The catalog delivered on September 1 is rebuilt as a static site under the DebtTechIndex name: whole page titles, sources visible on every record with their check date, category pages with the buyer problem and a comparison table, Top 10 guides with a labeled sponsored layer and an alphabetical organic list, the 101 feature definitions on one page, and the policy pages rewritten to state how the company makes money. No fact or grade changed.
