Use a structured RFI to move from feature comparison to implementable collection-system diligence.
An RFI should make the operating model explicit. Include account and client workflows, contact controls, payment flow, communications, reporting, data retention, integrations, implementation roles, and support assumptions.
Avoid treating a vendor's public summary as a contract commitment. The RFI is the place to validate which capabilities are available in the relevant edition, configuration, jurisdiction, and commercial scope.
Use the response to organize follow-up, not to create a simplistic score. Buyers should identify the dependencies, exceptions, and evidence needed by their own legal, security, finance, and implementation stakeholders.
